What is included in the venue hire fee?

Hall hire, use of facilities, tables (trestle or round) and use of grounds. Extra Items can be hired see our pack for more details.

Do we have to use your recommended caterer?

No you are welcome to pick any caterer as long as they have the correct paperwork or you can choose from a list recommended by us.

Can we decorate the venue the day before?

Yes we pride ourselves in letting our couples come in and decorate the day before the wedding. Access times can vary depending on our school bookings.

Do you have space for a marquee or tepee?

Yes we have space on our stunning grounds.

Do you have onsite accommodation?

No, however we do provide you with a list of local accommodation. The majority of rentals and B&B’s are only a 5 minute walk from the manor and can provide a beautiful setting for the bride to get ready.

Do you have onsite parking?

Yes we do have parking on site for all your guests, if extra parking is needed you can discuss this with one of our wedding coordinators.

Do you charge corkage?

We allow our couples to bring their own bottles for the post ceremony drinks and do not charge corkage for this. However, for the meal and evening drinks this must be supplied by one of our bar suppliers.

Where can we have pictures taken if it is raining?

Group pictures will need to be in the ceremony room, outside and or in the reception room. It is possible for shots of the couple to take place in the house. This will need to be agreed prior to the wedding so that a member of staff will be free to escort you.

Can we have music outside?

Yes up until 8pm then music needs to be inside.

We have guests who are in wheel chairs can you accommodate them in the ceremony room?

Yes, we have a ramps (portable and solid).

Where would our BBQ/pig roast go?

The choice is yours!

Do we have to clear up at the end of the night?

No, your caterers will clear food etc, we will clear furniture and clean the room according to T’s & C’s. You or the wedding party will need to come back and collect your gifts and decorations the next day by 10am.

Will there be a staff member on site for the entire celebration?

Yes, a member of Sulgrave Manor staff will be the last person to leave the site.

How do I book the date?

You will need to sign a contract and pay the £500 deposit which will secure your date.

When will my deposit be returned to me?

Within 2 months of your wedding day.
