Tudor Cookery Workshop

Ever wondered what treats the Tudors enjoyed at Christmas time?

Create and take home your own Tudor sweet treats suitable for Christmas banqueting. With friendly course leaders in 16th century costume will help you rediscover the tastes of long-forgotten spices, popular in Tudor times… Make sweetmeats and your own bottle of spiced Hippocras made of wine wine or grape juice.

N.B. Not suitable for those with a nut allergy (almonds).

Includes: Tuition by Linda Williams and Rosemary Verner (Sulgrave Manor Education Team) in Tudor costume; ingredients; refreshments.

Fee: £60 (additional cost for optional pre-booked lunch).
