What's On at Sulgrave Manor

July 4th 2015
11am until 4pm

 150 years ago the American Civil War ended. Step back in time and join us at Sulgrave Manor with re-enactors and a living history camp. There will be demonstrations and battle re-enactments throughout the day for the whole family to enjoy.
Sulgrave Manor, being the ancestral home of George Washington, is the ideal location to discover more about the importance of American Independence Day.
Join us to celebrate the unique relationship between Great Britain and North America. Throughout the day we will be offering a range of family fun activities for all ages to enjoy including:
  • American Baseball - Have a go!
  • Live music
  • American Barbeque & treats
  • Native American Indian Artefacts
  • Harley Davidson bikes arriving at midday
  • UK & US Scouting activities (come in uniform for free entry)
  • Washington Family history tours *
  • Battle re-enactments with live musket fire!
  • Flag ceremony

Childrens' Christmas Funday

Sunday 13th December 11am - 4pm

Excellent array of games, crafts and activities for young and old including a tour of the Manor house. Seasonal homemade refreshments available in the Buttery all day.
