Details from the 1593 arrangements for the marriage of Walter Washington to Alice Murden

Shall and will appoynte and assigne out witin the messuage or ffarme house wherein the said Walter Leight nowe Inhabiteth Sufficient Roomes and Conveyment Lodginge ffurnished with all manner of necessaries fitt and conveynyent for the said Walter Washington and Alice Murden and for such children and yt shall please god to blesse them with all duringe the lief of the said Walter Leight AND……

competent and convenyient meate drincke firwode and all other necessarie things fytt and convenient for them and any of them (apparel only excepted) And shall duringe that tyme kepe or cause to be kept within Radwaye aforesaid one geldinge or mare for the only use Benefitt or travel of the said Walter Washington and Alice Murden both winter and summer...

Ffyftie ewe sheepe every ewe to have a lambe by her side and also ffyftie other sheepe to the use of the said Walter Washington and Alice Murden And doth promise that the same Ewes lambes and other sheepe or the like number of ewes and other sheepe Shall yearly and every yeare during the lief of the said Walter Leight goode pasture feede and be kept both in winter and summer seasons in such place and places with the like guyde and in such manner and sorte in all respecte as other the like sheepe of the said Walter Leight goeinge in the ffeilde of Radwaye aforesaid shall goe depasture feede Betended or kept...

the said Walter Leight content discharge and paie all the chardges duetyes or payements whatsoever as in or shall growe due or payeable to any pson (person) or psons whatsoever for by reason or meane of the same ewes lambes and sheepe or any of them goeinge or feedinge within the same feildes
