We set out to give your company a Christmas to remember. If you want ribald revelry, don't come to us. If you want excellent fare and the good cheer and warm fellowship of a world long past - we are the place for your Christmas celebration.

Christmas traditions.

The Lord or Lady of Sulgrave Manor will welcome you and your colleagues to their home and tell you of the traditions that were part of their lives, offering you mulled wine as a token of things to come. Then they invite you to walk through their house to appreciate its fine furniture and exquisite textiles.

Then you will proceed to the Courtyard Hall for your Christmas feast. The feast is provided by our partners, Carvers, who breed and butcher their own meat and then bring it to your table cooked to perfection and accompanied by succulent vegetables. One of the great English roasts, pork, lamb or beef (a vegetarian alternative is available) accompanied by seasonal vegetables with well-chosen wines (or an interesting non-alcoholic alternative) followed by syllabub and coffee will delight your taste-buds and satisfy your appetite. While you are eating a minstrel will entertain you.

After the meal, the choice is yours. We can arrange for a paying bar and/or further entertainment (charged to you at cost) to your taste. Or you may choose simply to enjoy the ambiance and relax in the fellowship of your colleagues. Because we try to be good neighbours and have to bear in mind the impact of music thumping, doors slamming and cars driving away in this normally very peaceful village late at night, any music or entertainment MUST finish at 11pm - we will pull the plug if we have to! And we expect everyone to leave the site as quietly as they can by 11.30pm.

BOOKING YOUR CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION

AVAILABILITY: The Sulgrave Christmas Celebration is available from Friday, 9th to the 23rd December. A booking for Saturday, 24th December would have to be exclusive and would attract an additional £500 surcharge.

COSTS: Your company can book a Christmas Celebration at Sulgrave Manor on an exclusive basis or share the experienced with others. Exclusive bookings are charged at £2,700. The maximum capacity is 100 people - but for comfort we recommend 80-90. Non-exclusive bookings are charged at £45 per head. These charges cover the meal and the tour. Additional charges for entertainment ordered will be added to your invoice.

MAKING A BOOKING: Please phone in the first instance to discuss dates. Your chosen evening will then be held for five days awaiting the return of the completed form with a deposit of £50 for a non-exclusive booking or £500 for an exclusive one - refundable in full if you need to cancel up to 3 weeks before the visit. You will need to confirm exact numbers and send a cheque for the balance of your costs at least 10 days before the visit. Numbers given at this time are binding. Cheques payable to "Sulgrave Manor Board".

Places are limited and bookings must be made by November 15th.
