The Christmas season brings its own special glow to Sulgrave Manor from the log fire in the Great Hall, to the candles shimmering in windows and the festoons of decorations.

Tradition is the key note - no gaudy, Victorian decorations but the natural splendour of rural England - ivy, holly and other native greenery, strung around the Great Hall. The great Wassail Bowl, the burning faggot, all the traditions of a simpler, more honest time.
